Welcome to No Kidding Farm & Vineyard, a family-run farm nestled in the heart of Central Virginia where tradition meets craftsmanship. We're a proud Army veteran family with three kids who believe that the best things in life come from the land and are made by hand.
What Makes Us Different
Every product you find in our shop tells a story of patience, care, and a deep respect for natural processes. We don't take shortcuts, and we don't use synthetic materials when nature provides better alternatives.
Our Hand-Dyed Yarns: Each skein of yarn begins with our Angora bunnies, Merino, Rambouillet, or Olde English Babydoll Southdown sheep, whose wool we hand-spin with care. But what truly sets our yarn apart is our natural dyeing process. We use plants and materials from our own farm and the surrounding Virginia countryside—indigo for deep blues, black walnuts for rich browns, chamomile for sunny yellows, and rosemary for earthy greens. No synthetic dyes, just pure, natural color that's gentle on your skin and the environment. If we cannot grow the dye ingredients ourselves, then we purchase them from trustworthy sources who are also greatly dedicated to the preservation of the natural ingredients and sustainable harvesting methods.
Our Goat Milk Soaps: Made with fresh milk from our own goats, our handcrafted soaps are nourishing, gentle, and perfect for all skin types. We infuse them with natural ingredients and essential oils, creating bars that cleanse without harsh chemicals.
Our Vineyard: Our muscadine wines and juices will capture the essence of Virginia's terroir. These native grapes thrive in our climate, producing bold, distinctive flavors you won't find anywhere else.
